Disposing of Household Hazard WasteClean Sweep is the common name for programs designed to safely dispose of household hazardous waste.

Hazardous waste can be harmful to people, animals, or the environment, particularly surface and ground waters.

According to the Eau Claire County Clean Sweep web page, Residential Clean Sweep events are always held on the second Saturday of May, July, September, and November each year, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. TOMORROW – Saturday, November 10 is the last Clean Sweep this year.

Clean Sweep collections take place at WRR Environmental Services in Eau Claire, located at 5200 Ryder Road, about 1/4 mile south of Interstate 94.

Sounds Like Summer Concert SeriesEnjoy FREE concerts every Thursday night this summer from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in beautiful Phoenix Park.

Howard “Guitar” Luedtke, Blue Max, Blue Grama Bluegrass, and Jeff White are among the artists performing this summer in the REE Sounds Like Summer Concert Series, where local bands play to crowds of more than 1,000 people on the banks of the Chippewa River every Thursday night in June, July, and August. The next show is Thursday, June 21, featuring the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra + Billy Krause.
